Stout von Finch is a stunning, plush-coated, 4-year-old sable German Shepherd. When out on his walks, his regal bearing and good looks have drivers rubber-necking as they drive down Hill Street. This mid-energy boy needs a few minutes to feel comfortable around new people, but then gives you burly bear hugs and delightful doggie kisses. His previous owner told us: “Stout is a super-sweet, loving dog – very gentle, unless provoked. He is always happy to greet you when you come home and follow you around the house. He knows his basic commands, and will wait in front of his food bowl until you say ‘okay.’” This handsome hunk likes to play with other dogs, though he does not care for dominant females.
